Common questions about our service
LootCodes is a digital store for game keys, gift cards and in-game top-ups. Everything we sell is a code or a direct credit to your account — there is nothing to ship and nothing to wait for in the post. Your codes appear on your order page and we email you a link to it; orders you place while signed in are also saved to your account so you can open them again at any time.
A game key unlocks one specific game or add-on on a platform such as Steam, Xbox or PlayStation. A gift card adds a balance to your store wallet, which you can then spend on whatever you like. A top-up sends in-game currency — Diamonds, Genesis Crystals, UC and so on — straight to your player ID, without you needing to redeem anything.
No. You can check out as a guest with just an email address, and we send a link to your order to that address. Creating an account is free and keeps every order, key and printable receipt in one place, which makes it much easier if you ever need support on an old purchase.
Yes. Every code we sell comes from licensed distributors and official supply partners, and it is the same retail code you would get from any authorised seller. We do not sell shared accounts, cracked copies or codes recovered from cancelled payments.
Digital prices vary a lot between distributors, regions and promotional periods, and we buy in volume across several of them. We pass most of that difference on rather than holding a fixed margin, which is why the same product can move in price from one week to the next.
Orders with less than US$5 due after discounts and LootCoins include a processing fee. We show the fee and the minimum total before you pay. Your bank may also charge a currency conversion fee.
LootCoins are store credit on your LootCodes account. You can use them at checkout to take money off a later order. They have no cash value and can't be moved to another account. Depending on the programmes running at the time, you earn them on purchases made while signed in, through price-drop protection or by inviting friends. They can expire, and your wallet shows when. The current amounts and rules are on our Rewards page.
Your dashboard has a Referrals tab with a personal invite link. When a friend creates a new LootCodes account with that link and their first qualifying order is delivered, you get LootCoins, and your friend may get a welcome credit too. Eligibility rules apply, such as a minimum order. The current amounts and rules are on our Rewards page.
Delivery
Questions about order delivery and timing
All products have immediate delivery after payment approval. Codes appear on your order page; direct top-ups are credited to the specified account. Some orders need a security check before delivery, in line with our Terms & Conditions. We email you a link to your order when it is ready.
Your code is on your order page. When your order is ready, we email a secure link to that page to the address you used at checkout. If you bought while signed in, the order is also in your account under your order history, so you never depend on that one email. Lost the email? Use Find my order and we'll send you a new link.
First check your spam and promotions folders, since automated order emails often land there. Your code is also on your order page: orders placed while signed in are in your account, and Find my order emails you a new link to a guest order. If you still can't find it, open a support ticket with your order number — your code is stored safely against your order and cannot be lost.
Some orders are held for a fraud check, which protects both you and us against stolen cards. A held order is reviewed by a member of our team, who may ask for documents such as a photo ID or proof of payment through your support ticket. We will email you, and no code is released until the order is cleared.
Yes. Delivery is automatic and runs every day of the year, including nights, weekends and public holidays, so you do not have to wait for office hours to get your code. Some orders are held for a security check first; a member of our team reviews those, so they can take longer.
Yes. Codes are not tied to the buyer, so you can simply pass on the code once you receive it. We recommend keeping the order confirmation yourself, because support requests need the order details and it is easier if they stay with the person who paid.
A pre-order reserves your copy at the price you paid today. The code is delivered on or shortly after the official release date rather than immediately, and we email you as soon as it is ready. The release date shown on the product page is the one we work to.
Payments
Payment methods and billing questions
Payments are handled by our payment providers, PayPal, Airwallex or 1Payment, depending on the payment method you select. You can pay with your PayPal balance or with a card, and depending on your country PayPal may also offer options such as Pay Later. The options available to you are shown at checkout. You do not need to store a card with us. When offered at checkout, 1Payment supports SBP payments only in Russian rubles (RUB). Hosted card payments through 1Payment are also in RUB and appear only when enabled at checkout.
You can change the display currency using the selector in the header, and prices update across the whole site. The amount you approve at checkout is the amount that leaves your account. If that currency is not the one your card is issued in, your bank may apply its own exchange rate.
Declines almost always come from your bank or from our payment providers, PayPal, Airwallex or 1Payment, depending on the payment method you select, rather than from us, most often because of a daily limit, an unrecognised international merchant or a card that needs confirming in your banking app. Try again after approving the payment there, or use a different card or payment method. Nothing is charged for a declined attempt.
We never see or store your full card number. Card payments are processed by our payment providers, PayPal and Airwallex. If you choose to save a card at checkout, PayPal keeps the card, and the only details we keep are its brand, last four digits and expiry date.
A failed attempt sometimes leaves a temporary authorisation on your statement that looks like a charge but is released by your bank within a few working days. If you genuinely have two completed orders, contact support with both order numbers and we will refund the duplicate.
Top-Up
Buying in-game currency with your player ID
A top-up credits in-game currency directly to your account — Diamonds, Genesis Crystals, UC, Robux and similar. There is no code to redeem: you give your player ID at checkout, and once your payment clears the currency is sent straight to the game itself. Some orders get a security check first.
Only your public player or user ID, and for some games the server or zone it belongs to. We never need your password, your email login or access to your account. If a seller anywhere asks you to hand over your account, it is a scam.
It is usually on your profile screen inside the game, next to your nickname or avatar. In Mobile Legends it appears in the top-left profile panel with the server number in brackets; in Genshin Impact it is the UID at the bottom right of the screen. The product page shows exactly where to look for that game.
Contact support immediately with your order number. If the top-up has not been sent yet we can usually stop it. Once currency has been credited to another player's account it cannot be reversed by us or by the publisher, so please double-check the ID and server before confirming — most top-up pages show the account nickname back to you for exactly this reason.
Immediate delivery after payment approval. Some orders may require a security check before delivery. Follow your order on the order page; we email you a link when it is ready.
Most work on any server, but some games run separate regional versions that need a matching top-up. Where that applies, the product page asks you to pick your server or region before you can add it to the basket. If your server is not listed, that version is not available for that game yet.
Regions
Regional restrictions and availability
Some publishers restrict a code so it can only be activated on accounts registered in certain countries. If you redeem a region-locked code on an account outside that region, the platform simply refuses it. The region for every product is shown on its page before you buy.
GLOBAL means the code has no regional restriction and can be activated on an account in any country. It is the safest option if you are unsure of your account's region, which is why global versions are usually slightly more expensive.
It depends on the country your platform account is registered in, not on where you happen to be right now. On Steam you can see it in your account details under country of residence, and other platforms show it in account or billing settings. Check this before buying a region-specific product.
We don't recommend it. Most platforms detect it, and using one to get around a region restriction can breach their terms and put your account at risk. A code that works in the region shown on the product page isn't faulty, so a VPN problem after you reveal it isn't refunded. Buy the region that matches your account instead.
If you haven't revealed a code from the order yet, contact support and we can cancel the order and refund you. Once a code has been revealed we can't take it back, and a code for a region that the product page showed or warned you about isn't refunded for a change of mind, so check your account region before you buy.
Security
Security and privacy related questions
The whole site runs over encrypted connections, payments are handled by our payment providers, PayPal, Airwallex or 1Payment, depending on the payment method you select, and we never see or store your full card number. Every order also passes an automated fraud check before a code is released, which is what keeps stolen-card purchases out of the catalogue.
A small number of orders trigger an extra check — usually a first large purchase, or a payment and delivery country that do not match. It is not an accusation, it is how we stop someone else spending on your card. A member of our team reviews it, and the order is released as soon as it passes.
No. The codes we sell are ordinary retail codes obtained through licensed supply, and redeeming one is no different from redeeming a code bought anywhere else. Bans come from breaking a platform's own rules, not from where a legitimate code was purchased.
Never. We do not need it and we will never ask for it. A top-up needs only your public player or user ID, and a key is something you redeem yourself. Treat any message asking for your password as a scam, even if it appears to come from us.
We keep the minimum needed to process your order and give you support afterwards, and we do not sell your data to anyone. Full detail on what is stored and for how long is in our Privacy Policy, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Refunds
Refund policies and procedures
Yes, if your code doesn't work, isn't what you ordered, or we made a mistake. Until you reveal a code from your order, you can also ask us to cancel the order and refund you. After you reveal a code, we can't refund a change of mind, because the code could already have been used. None of this limits your rights under consumer law.
In four situations, whether or not you revealed the code: you received a different product, edition, platform or region from the one you ordered; the code is invalid, expired or already redeemed; something went wrong on our side, such as a double charge or a payment with no delivery; or the code cannot be activated in your region even though our product page said it could. If the code can't be used at all, you can choose a replacement or a refund. Open a refund request from our support page in any of these cases.
Open a refund request from our support page with your order number, the exact error message from the platform and a screenshot if you can. A code that genuinely fails to activate is replaced or refunded, whether or not you revealed it. Please contact us before you open a dispute with PayPal or your bank, because a dispute freezes the order and slows the fix down.
A change of mind after you revealed a code: for example, you no longer want the game, found it cheaper elsewhere, didn't enjoy it or already own it on another platform. We also can't refund a code for a region that the product page showed or warned you about, a device that doesn't meet the system requirements shown on the product page, or restrictions on your platform account that have nothing to do with the code we supplied. Problems with the game itself, such as bugs or server outages, are usually fixed by the publisher or platform, so contact them first; if the problem is serious and isn't fixed, contact us. Your rights under consumer law still apply.
We aim to give you a decision on a refund request within 3–5 business days. Once a refund is approved, we send it back to the payment method you used and email you when it leaves our side. It appears within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on PayPal or your bank.
Support
Customer support and assistance
Open a ticket from our support page, or write to support@lootcodes.com. Including your order number gets you a much faster answer, because it lets us open the order straight away instead of having to ask for it first.
We aim to reply to every ticket within 24 hours. Including your order number and the exact error message from the platform helps us solve it in the first reply.
If you find the same product cheaper at another legitimate retailer, you can submit a price match claim from the product page. We check the competing offer is genuine, in stock and for the same region and edition, and where it is we will match it, and beat it when we can.
Yes. Sign in and open your account to see every order you placed while signed in, with its status and codes. Guest orders are not added automatically, even when the email address matches. To add one, sign in with the email address you used for that order, then open the order from the link in its order email, and it is saved to your account. Lost that email? Use Find my order and we will send new links to the address on the order.
