PC games and add-ons here are activated on a PC platform: Steam, EA, Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games, GOG, Battle.net, Rockstar and others. The platform named on the product page is where the key is activated, so a Ubisoft game sold as a Steam key is activated on Steam.
Keys are sold by region, and the region is shown on every product page before you buy. If a key may not activate in your country, the product page shows a warning. The warning does not stop you buying: the choice is yours.
Sign in to the account the game should belong to before you redeem: a key is added to whichever account is signed in, and the licence cannot be moved afterwards. All products have immediate delivery after payment approval; some orders need a security check before delivery.
PC: common questions
Where do I enter a Steam key?
In the Steam desktop app, open the Games menu at the top and choose "Activate a Product on Steam...". Away from the app, sign in at store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey and enter the key there. Paste the key rather than typing it.
Which launcher do I activate a PC key on?
The platform named on the product page. A key only works on the platform it was issued for, so a Steam key will not work in the EA app or Ubisoft Connect, even for a game made by EA or Ubisoft.
Can I move a game to a different account after redeeming?
No. Redeeming binds the licence to the account that entered the code, and platforms do not let you transfer it afterwards. Check that you are signed in to the right account before you redeem.
When do I receive my key?
All products have immediate delivery after payment approval. Some orders need a security check before delivery, in line with our Terms & Conditions. Your key appears on your order page and we email you a link to it.
